Good health is not a given. Some people, through no fault of their own, struggle with health issues every day. Those of us who are granted reasonably good health have an obligation to work at staying healthy. Most doctors agree that certain lifestyles can do more damage than others – like smoking, drinking alcohol in more than moderate amounts, using street drugs and abusing prescription medications, among other things. But there are three other behaviors – that when changed – can make a huge difference in your physical, mental, and emotional health: eating well, moving more, and getting enough sleep.
